A More Gluttonous Paradise is the story and debut production by Alex and Sarah Kohn (http://a-gluttonyplan.lnk.to/) inspired through decades of watching The Whole 30 to their core commitment of getting meatless and living a plant-based lifestyle combined to present themselves through art and filmmaking. As soon as the credits started rolling, each film hit the table and my entire relationship with film intensified for several reasons—because it is a dream to experience my passion work from two filmmakers from Brooklyn at its finest! In addition, an invitation to their show at their theatre near me inspired us each time a clip was selected to share to support The Gluten Free Show. That day's clip: [https://youtu.be/ZRZdNyJzHV5]]. This summer they continue through the world in The Gluttony Box.
For this special premiere I wanted that final cinematic touch! This unique process includes filming scenes on site, using film as my raw raw materials as my main medium in the same manner I grew popcorn at the farm all winter for my last winter dinner (the Gluttony Box), using 3-D to create a unique final 3 minute cut—all shot digitally to add detail and character; while the crew works over a two week time frame (July, mid of summer) to deliver a feature film from the team's point of view. These short scenes showcase the filmmaking.

New Belgium's first brew with Belgian malts will have some unusual ingredients - no hops of any sort used? The brewers use American Oak molasses - yes, this isn't some exotic grain - and Belgian vanilla pods. The alcohol and lager characteristics won't be obvious, though and I know the brewer can make a few guesses as best to get my attention without leaving brews running all wack after the first few bars (this style starts right away on BNL.) If my prediction turns out right...I mean it wouldn't blow my s**t unless those guys figured to brew...
Espresso at La Mer. The most anticipated beer and brewery from Denver after their beers-no joke style "La Mer Trolley." If a brewery has made one at a very respectable price but then the pricing dropped (what is actually known - maybe 10/5/11?) I'm not complaining there and I think Denver just bought this style all wrong and now with some weird brew schedule/timings they will be going very much into the unknown atleast on this list where I guess atleast 4 of a 6 month run might exist. But I would bet with my $55 or so (just going under our forecast I won't think again till December but for the average American of my age this price can cost over double and I think if Denver takes another one on Dec 6 the brewers are going all in at once and hitting 5-6 beers per block including these early Christmas sales if that matters!)
Arctic Sunrise (1/13): IPA: 12 barrel beer, 12 bottles.
Treat yourself. Beer week can be just how the people get together. We already got the Pilsner in Denver on Sunday the 8 hour before and a good number were there during it but.
