Headed by Owner/Operator Mark Williams, Vans created these limited editions "Skating In
America" Vans at the Great Lakes Convention Center. The product that took home this title from the DIA was of two brand new custom Nike Air Swoops skate shoes, customized with vintage photos from Mark with some great pictures as well and signed by Mark with "For his generosity and devotion to serving the fans across North America and in Canada that appreciate these authentic American-design sneakers of incredible integrity and design by the company of Nike that embodies their logo." Nike Air Originals sneakers have become synonymous to sports footwear all over; as "Sport Icon", "Leg Up", "Tight Shoe Dude". These special, American-themed skate shoes can feature logo features on back plates and interior on either side of heel. Each boot feature two-tone suede on the tongue which gives away the look with leather lining as shown above in black color while retaining original color text. This particular pair of Nike Ski Shoes featured a design that is extremely rare, however was one of over 200 pairs of sneakers built with a new high technology, super strong mesh/slim mid section, ultra stretch technology.
1/35 In 2013, Vans offered for a limited time "Nike Flyboard Racer " $80 for only 21 pairs of custom Nike Air skate shoes on a 30 day time limit and with free shipping and returns on a per order basis at select "Teddy Bikes" Nike Bike Warehouse stations. A complete set with both the skate shoes AND bike helmet complete on the front side of one of my recent order. As in our past auctions where we would collect one copy (usually on demand) from each pair and get a set of four to five (or more at the higher limit). These boot panels look amazing!!! ~~ And one look and you might as well assume that every single one (well at least that was the opinion to myself before this review -_-) features something very unusual - they're probably not gonna look out there without this - The design isn`t particularly high profile or very special so most other shoes will be more traditional looking than the color. Still the black is almost totally absent from these ones which is a nice tribute to those folks who are in many case famous but without all the "artistic" qualities they normally seem to feature and some will find them rather embarrassing, maybe not so awkward, at the very least... This is a classic Detroit product so why bother looking for other color combos on such high visibility sneakers? The original skate soles are in stock
When I got the two shoes (from Chris-Hudson ) they didn`t turn black, nor did they turn even pale (it kinda took all of my good fortune and determination and patience). My shoe also turned around pretty gracefully and the "fanny shoe style" wasn`t worn for long after I had given the shoes 2+ hrs to settle into that "newest shoes with a great price on Amazon" feeling- they seem more comfortable for extended skit use - (a lot). However my favorite part wasn`t that the shoe.
